Modular Wear Protection Solutions

LMS-RU rubber wear protection modules have a highly wear-resistant rubber quality as a wear layer and orange rubber layer as a signal layer on a 5-mm hot-vulcanized steel backing plate S235 (ST-37).

TYPICAL AREAS OF APPLICATION

Highest wear resistance in applications with impact and sliding wear and noise pollution. Best results can be achieved at impact angles of 90°. Very heavy to medium duty applications (crushed sharp-edged material) in mining, quarries, sand and gravel plants, recycling plants, e.g. truck bodies, primary bunkers, chutes, loading points, feeders, funnels, silos, mobile crushing and screening plants, etc.

LMS-PU panels are made of highly wear-resistant polyurethane LUWITAN^® 85 Shore (A) as a wear layer and yellow polyurethane LUWITAN^® 55 Shore (D) as a signal layer and at the same time as a backing layer.

Highest wear resistance in applications with sliding wear and caking, as well as with oily and greasy materials. Medium-duty applications in mining, quarries, sand and gravel plants and in industry, e.g. bunkers, containers, chutes, loading points, feeders, gutters, hoppers, silos, etc.

LMS-PE modules are made of high-quality polyethylene (UHMW) PE-SIL. Due to the low-friction surface, LMS-PE modules improve the material flow of caking materials.

In case of material flow problems with fine-grained, dusty, non-abrasive materials, e.g. coal mining, paper, cement and gypsum industry in quarries (lime, clay), sand and gravel works e.g. bunkers, containers, chutes, loading points, feeders, gutters, hoppers, silos, etc.

LMS-PC modules are a combination of highly wear-resistant 92% AL2O3 ceramic cylinders vulcanized in NQ60 wear rubber.

TYPICAL AREAS OF APPLICATION

Highest wear resistance in applications with sliding wear, especially at high conveying velocities. Excellent wear properties for transfer points with a small impact angle 0° - 30°. Medium to light applications in mining, quarries, sand and gravel plants and in industry, e.g. vibrating feeders, skips, bunkers, chutes, loading points, gutters, hoppers, silos, etc., which are exposed to sliding wear.

LU-PP wear plates are manufactured from in 60 Shore(A) wear resistance rubber NQ60 combined with hot-vulcanized steel reinforcement plate.

Our rubber grade NQ60 with excellent wear resistance in case of dry wear conditions and absorption of impact energy. LU-PP wear rubber elements can be drilled, cut and rolled in a predetermined radius. LU-PP wear rubber elements can be supplied in thicknesses from 13 mm to 150 mm. Max. possible dimensions 1500 mm x 3000 mm.

LU-PC is a combination of 92% AL2O3 ceramic cylinders/mosaic and rubber for highest wear resistance. Ceramic-mosaic/rubber plates with a contact layer. Ceramic cylinders and other inserts with 5 mm steel backing S235 (ST-37) for simple mechanical attachment (stud welding bolts). The vulcanized steel backing enables an easy fitting to the application areas and prevents dust and material spillage. LU-PC ceramic/rubber plates are available in thickness from 8 mm (4 mm ceramic mosaic) up to 95 mm (70 mm ceramic special inserts).

LU-SP wear plates are manufactured from 60 Shore (A) wear resistance rubber NQ60 combined with hot-vulcanized steel backing plate. Our rubber grade 60 Shore (A) with excellent wear resistance in case of dry wear condiditons and absorption of impact energy. The serrated surface has been designed to provide optimal life for material with impact angles between 10° and 50°. The steel backing guarantees secure fixing so that the wear plates remain together even if the lining is exposed to extremely abrasive and sharp particles. LU-SP wear rubber elements can be supplied in thicknesses from 50 mm to 125 mm. max. possible dimensions 750 x 1500 mm.

LU-WB wear bars have excellent wear resistance in application with both impact and sliding due to high wear resistant rubber 60 Shore (A). Hot-vulcanized aluminum fixing profile. LU-WB wear bars reduce noise and vibrations and are lighter compared to conventional steel linings. LU-WB wear bars have a standard length of 1500 mm and are available in heights from 50 mm to 150 mm and width from 50 mm to 150 mm.

LU-Flexback is a wear lining with hotvulcanized or casted-in embedded perforated steel reinforcement making it possible to construct self-supporting channels and chutes with simple supports of angle iron and flat iron.

LU-Flexback plane is available in rubber and polyurethane, LU-Flexback serrated is available in rubber only.

Offering a very low coefficient of friction, this lubricant-filled lining material offers low moisture absorption and excellent chemical resistance. The PE-SIL components can be fabricated and welded for any application that requires a seamless drop-in liner, a framed-in liner, or a replacement liner for storage and transport containers, hoppers, chutes, tubes, bunkers, and many other applications.
