Glass flakes - destined for recycling and conversion into new bottles - persistently adhering to the return side of the conveyor belts, resulted in fast and severe damage to the rubber idlers at Ardagh Group's Limmared galss production facility in Sweden. Idlers featuring Ceralast ceramic support rings, outlast the standard rubber idlers previously used by a staggering tenfold.

The Lutze 24h emergency service helps whenever a belt is damaged and needs to stay operational until the next planned stop. With preventive maintenance in the form of reoccurring physical or virtual inspections together with customer's staff critical parts can be identified and changed before they fail. Experienced technicians review the whole plant, identify improvement potential and consult on possible measures to optimize the operation.
