Demolition and Recycling

Customizable, durable solutions for demolition contractors and recycling companies

Manage changing requirements

We offer specialized products for various waste types, ensuring durability and adaptability through continuous monitoring and equipment adjustments

The recycling industry spans a wide range of materials and processing methods, all with a common goal: to convert waste into reusable forms instead of resorting to disposal and long-term storage. This site provides an overview of the products and services Lutze Group offers, tailored for challenges in both consumer waste recycling and demolition debris recycling. Whether dealing with waste from households, plastics, aluminum, glass, paper, or compost, or managing the recycling of construction and demolition materials like concrete, bricks, and metal, our solutions are designed to meet the demands of these diverse waste streams.

Conveying solutions

Essential in most large-scale and high-volume recycling facilities

Material recovery heavily depend on belts to move and sort mixed recyclables efficiently. Conveyor belts are widely used in large-scale recycling facilities to improve efficiency and automate processes. In metal recycling, they transport scrap to shredders and separators, while in plastic and paper recycling, they move materials through shredding, sorting, and baling stages. Glass recycling facilities use belts to feed crushers and separators, and construction recycling relies on them to handle heavy materials like concrete and wood. Organic composting and rubber recycling operations also use conveyor systems to streamline processing.

At Lutze you'll find many conveying solutions that can fit your specific recycling applications. Whether you need heavy-duty or light-weight belts, Lutze is able to help you.

Protecting idlers in Swedish glass recycling facility

Idler life multiplied by 10

Glass flakes - destined for recycling and conversion into new bottles - persistently adhering to the return side of the conveyor belts, resulted in fast and severe damage to the rubber idlers at Ardagh Group's Limmared galss production facility in Sweden. Idlers featuring Ceralast ceramic support rings, outlast the standard rubber idlers previously used by a staggering tenfold.
