In our Lutze Group confectioning workshops, we can make any conveyor belt on demand, ensuring what we deliver is optimally adapted to its respective purpose.
The capabilities we have in those workshop are pretty much unlimited:
- cutting
- punching
- confectioning cleats, sidewalls or other components from various materials onto belts
- high precision and high-performance splices of various types of conveyor belts using cold gluing, hot vulcanising or mechanical processes
- combining rubber products with synthetics materials such as PVC and polyurethane.

As an alternative to glued or vulcanized cleats, we can also offer easily exchangeable cleats that are fastened with screws. The LUWITAN® Screw-on cleats are especially suitable for high abrasive or chemically stressed applications in which our polyurethane quality will outlast comparable rubber components.
Fastening material
The LUWITAN® Screw-on cleats are fixed using special washers and M8 x 30 mm hexagon socket screws. For optimal installation the screws are tightened with a torque of 6Nm and fixed with screw lock fluid (e.g. Loctite).
