Siemens belt scale integrated in innovative soil treatment plants
Find out how a Siemens belt scale meets Dansk Anlægsteknik's requirements.

Dansk Anlægsteknik has developed a mobile soil treatment plant that can optimize clay soil that is not suitable for building. By adding stabilizing elements, the soil gets the properties it needs. The new plant is typically used for the establishment of sewers, roads and construction.
During large construction projects, millions of tons of soil are moved and deposited because the soil does not have the composition to be used in construction activities.
These huge amounts of soil must be deposited elsewhere to be replaced by imported raw materials with the right properties. Removing the soil, requires large amounts of energy and resources, which burdens both the environment and CO2 objectives.
Dansk Anlægsteknik's new soil treatment plant makes it possible to reuse the existing soil. By using the unique, container-based plant, transporting, and depositing large quantities of soil is no longer needed.
A saving of up to 80 percent of the cost of replacing it with sand, is achieved with the new plant. This can easily be more than DKK 350 - 400 per ton incl. landfill for the excess soil, as it is not necessary anymore to pay for the disposal of the soil. In addition, you save on the no longer needed purchase of raw materials with the right properties. In addition, the processing of the soil is minimized, as it is treated directly on site.
The plant is patent pending in collaboration with Høiberg European Patent Attorneys.
DGM (nowadays Lutze Process Denmark ApS) found a solution – a Siemens belt scale
Dansk Anlægsteknik needed a belt scale that had to be integrated into the new plant. The company bills its customers per delivered ton and thereby needs to install a weighing solution.
The selected solution has been a Siemens belt scale supplied by Dansk Grusgrav Materiel (DGM), which was built into the facility's existing construction. It is a stand-alone installation, where the operator can read the weighing on the plant's display, just as it is possible to reset weighings on a daily or weekly basis or when a project is finished.
There are six counters in the scale, so there are many options for using these counters for different measurements. It is also possible to reset another counter at the same time in connection with maintenance when vital parts of the system need to be inspected and serviced.

Successfull collaboration between Dansk Anlægsteknik and Dansk Grusgrav Materiel
Dansk Anlægsteknik was founded by Lars M Pedersen and Carsten Johansen in January 2021. Lars Møllegård Pedersen runs the company Vejstrup Maskinstation, while Carsten Johansen is department manager at Hans H. Pedersen ApS in Gislev.
"We have greatly appreciated the collaboration with Dansk Grusgrav Materiel, who from our first dialogue were fully on board with what kind of weighing solution we needed to integrate into our facility. They came up with a really good belt scale that met the needs we had for both accurate weighing and accurate billing to our customers," say Lars M Pedersen and Carsten Johansen.
